So on-camera flash is both an awesome thing and a pitty: I'd certainly
rather have it than not, it lets you take pictures you just couldn't
without a flash, but it flattens things and makes them look harsh.
Now, I had noticed that with detached flashes, bouncing the light off
walls removed this problem, creating more diffuse light. But, I
didn't think I could bounce the light from my camera's flash.
