We started the Duct Tape competition when Jake and I were EWeek co-chairs, it's still going strong :).
A team has a minute and a half to duct tape one of their members to a wall aiming for the tape to hold this person longer than any of the other teams are able to do.

Jessi, Chu, Evan Oxfeld, Will Kammersell, and me, and Leonard with moral support were: Team Computer Science. (aka Team ACM officers :))
We weren't able to suspend Jessi, but then, no one tapeing truely fairly did...
